Mrs. Pagnotti
My name is Barbara Pagnotti. I am your child’s full day kindergarten classroom teacher. I have been married for twenty five years and am a lifelong resident of Plymouth. I have two children; a 20 year old son and an 18 year old daughter who is a senior in high school. We also share our home with a beautiful border collie named Flicka. In my free time I walk the beach, read, listen to music, go to the movies, spend time with family and friends and enjoy searching online for engaging learning activities to share in our classroom. I have had the pleasure of teaching a wide variety of grade levels including kindergarten, first grade, second grade, third grade and fourth grade. I also have experience working as a Title 1 teacher in the fifth grade. I am passionate about education, in particular early childhood education. My heart is in the kindergarten classroom. I love teaching children and am looking forward to an exciting year together!
As an educator I strive to create a classroom environment based on mutual respect and kindness. I believe that children learn best when they feel cared for and safe. I expect children to follow the rules and always strive to do their finest work even when something may seem difficult. I want to help children develop a love of learning so that they will become lifelong learners. I know that there is greatness in each student. My goal is to provide children with the materials, opportunities, instruction and support so that they can believe in themselves, do their best and let their talents shine. Creating lifelong learners is a collaborative effort. Parents, teachers, administrators and students all must work together. It is so important to keep lines of communication open between home and school. If you ever have any questions or concerns please feel free to email me at [email protected].
